Let's see. Windows 7 will release October 22. For the first time in my life I'm actually looking forward to the release of a new version of Windows. See, I've been using the Release Candidate since about June, and I have to say I'm really impressed with it. I love the changes they've made to the UI--it's much cleaner and more streamlined now than it ever was. I like the performance boost as well. Yes, with all the Aero eye candy turned on and everything my PC boots faster under Win7 and runs smoother overall than it did under Vista, with no hardware changes. I've been extremely satisfied with this release, and I wish they had waited a year or so and released this instead of releasing Vista.

If you are running Vista, there might not be ENOUGH reason here for you to upgrade to Win7 right now. If you're on XP, you really have no excuse not to, unless your computer is too old.

Also, my mouse is broken and I need a new one.
